About the Journal

Expert Journal of Business and Management (ISSN 2344-6781) is a European, double-anonymised peer-reviewed, open access journal published by Sprint Investify since 2013. It publishes original research in business and management for a worldwide readership.

Aims and scope

The journal publishes original theoretical and empirical research that offers relevant and current perspectives on management practice and has clear implications for business research and practice. We welcome work from authors around the world that develops new ideas in business and management and sheds light on management activities in companies of all kinds.

Topics include, but are not limited to: business strategy and policy; business performance modelling; entrepreneurship and corporate intrapreneurship; human resource management; organisational behaviour and organisational theory; leadership; strategic management; innovation and change; international and cross-cultural management; crisis management; business ethics and corporate social responsibility; quality management; operations management, supply chain management and logistics.

Article types

Original theoretical and empirical research articles, review articles and case studies. All article types are peer reviewed by at least two independent external reviewers.

Audience

Scholars (academics, researchers, lecturers and students) and practitioners (executives, board members, consultants and managers) with an interest in business and management.

Peer review

All manuscripts that pass plagiarism and editorial screening are reviewed by at least two independent external reviewers under double-anonymised peer review. See the Guide for Authors and the Editorial Policies.

Open access and licence

All articles are free to read on publication, with no embargo, and are published under the CC BY 4.0 licence. Authors retain copyright. See Open Access and Licensing.

Publication fee

One fee of 320 EUR per accepted article, payable only after acceptance. There are no submission fees and no other charges. See the Guide for Authors.

Publication frequency

Two issues per year. Articles are published online as soon as they are ready and are then grouped into the issue.

Persistent identifiers

Every article, from Volume 1 (2013) onward, has an ARK (Archival Resource Key) persistent identifier issued under NAAN 16759, registered to Sprint Investify. ARKs take the form https://expertjournals.com/ark:/16759/[article-identifier] and resolve permanently to the article, so citations and links keep working even if the website changes.

Digital archiving

Expert Journal of Business and Management is preserved by ZBW – Leibniz Information Centre for Economics, a long-term archiving agency registered in the Keepers Registry. Preservation status can be checked in the journal’s ISSN Portal record. All published articles are also kept in the Expert Journals Repository and in the journal’s archive on this website, freely accessible without registration.

Self-archiving policy

Authors may deposit any version of their article (preprint, accepted manuscript or published version) in any repository, with no embargo. The policy is registered in Open Policy Finder (formerly Sherpa Romeo).
