- Original Article – As an ethical and fair-dealing practice in journal publication, we encourage Authors to submit articles that have not been in any other journal or review and are not under consideration to be published by any other publication.
- Proper Formatting – Authors should make sure that the article’s text complies with the stylistic and formatting requirements presented in the template provided for Article Preparation.
- Microsoft Word format & Article Template– In order to hide certain author-related information for the review process, each submitted article should be in an editable Microsoft Word format.

- Review Process – Expert Journal of Business and Management promotes a double peer-review process that lasts between 4-8 weeks.
- Finalizing the Article Publication Process – Upon article acceptance, based on the double evaluation process, you should cover the Article Processing Charge (APC) for the final stage of publication in Expert Journal of Business and Management.
Article Review Process
At Expert Journal of Business and Management, the identities of the Reviewers and Authors remain anonymous, thus this evaluation takes the form of a double blind peer-review process, which occurs as follows:
1. Plagiarism screening. Every submitted article undergoes a plagiarism evaluation and then, if the article does not exhibit high levels of plagiarism, the business paper is reviewed by 1 or 2 Editors.
2. Editorial screening. The Editors evaluate aspects related to the novelty of the paper, match to the journal’s topics, organization and structure, readability, relevancy of cited references, among other criteria. Manuscripts that fall outside scope or fail to meet basic standards are rejected at this stage, without external review.
3. Double-anonymised external peer review. Manuscripts passing editorial screening are sent to at least two independent external reviewers. Authors and reviewers do not know each other’s identities. Reviewers assess the importance of the study, its contribution to the literature, the research design and analysis, and the interpretation of results and discussion.
4. Decision. Editors and Reviewers grade the manuscript. Each evaluation criterion can be graded on a 1–5 scale (considering the fact that 1 = Poor, 2 = Below Average, 3 = Average, 4 = Good, 5=Excellent.). A manuscript must reach an overall average of at least 3 to be considered for acceptance; the substance of the written reports is decisive. The Editors-in-Chief take the final decision: accept; accept with minor editorial changes; accept with major revisions; or reject.
5. Publication. On acceptance, the Article Processing Charge falls due, and the article is produced and published.

How long does the review process take?
Reviewers are asked to return their reports within 4 to 8 weeks of accepting an invitation. Editorial screening precedes this, and revision rounds follow it, so the full process typically takes longer. We will tell you if your manuscript is taking longer than expected.
If you disagree with a decision, write to business@expertjournals.com setting out your grounds and responding to the specific points the reviewers raised. Appeals are considered by an editor who was not involved in the original decision.
Article Processing Charge
The publication fee for each accepted article at Expert Journal of Business and Management is 150 Euro.
This Article Processing Charges (APC) covers the entire cost of the publication process and helps us keep our journal open access and extend the dissemination of research to global audiences.
This author contribution in the form of APC covers a broad range of services, such as: Editorial Process Costs, Archiving and Visibility Costs, Marketing Costs, and Operational Costs. Find out more information about the publication fee at Expert Journal of Business and Management.
As mentioned, the publication fee for each accepted article is 150 EUR. It is payable at the final stage of publication, after acceptance.
- There is no submission fee. Nothing is charged at submission or during review.
- There are no additional or hidden costs. We do not charge any other fee for longer articles, extra pages, additional authors, or bank commissions. There is only one APC per accepted article.
- There is no charge to readers. The journal is free to read.
- Waivers. Authors unable to pay may request a waiver or reduction by writing to the Editors before the final stage of publication. Requests are assessed on their merits and are handled separately from — and after — peer review. Ability to pay plays no part in editorial decisions.
Article Copyright
At Expert Journal of Business and Management, Authors retain the copyright to their work, without restriction. The journal is only granted the first publication right. However, the journal is not responsible for subsequent uses of the authors’ work.
As a supporters of open access, we believe it is important for our Authors to retain the copyright of their academic article published under a Creative Commons license. This implies that the paper can be freely redistributed and reused by the Authors and other Researchers as long as the published article is correctly attributed.
You may self-archive any version, with no embargo — preprint, accepted manuscript, or published version — in any repository or on any personal or institutional website. Please acknowledge first publication in the journal and link to the published version.
Originality, Plagiarism, and Research Integrity
Articles sent to Expert Journal of Business and Management should reflect original works, and the authors should appropriately cite and quote any influential publication or work of other authors.
A plagiarism analysis is a key pillar of supporting the integrity of the publication process and abiding to the ethical standards of article publication. Therefore, each submitted manuscript is thoroughly examined for plagiarism and checked for resemblances and similitudes to existing published papers. Articles that denote any form of plagiarism are rejected.
The journal follows the COPE Core Practices. Where misconduct is identified after publication, the journal issues a correction, an expression of concern, or a retraction as appropriate.
